How We Make Money
AUS Privacy Kit generates revenue through three sources:
- Digital Product Sales: Our primary revenue comes from the Australian Financial Security Toolkit ($149), which includes checklists, spreadsheets, video guides, and quarterly updates.
- Affiliate Commissions: When you purchase recommended tools (password managers, identity monitoring, etc.) through our links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
- Free Content: All our guides and articles are free and available to everyone, regardless of whether you purchase anything.
Our Editorial Independence
Affiliate relationships and product sales do NOT influence our content. Here's our commitment:
- We only recommend products we genuinely believe help with financial security
- We regularly recommend free tools over paid ones if they're better for you
- We never accept payment for positive coverage or mentions
- We test tools ourselves before recommending them
- We prioritize accuracy over revenue in all content
- We update guides quarterly, regardless of affiliate impact
Which Products Have Affiliate Links
We have affiliate relationships with some tools we recommend:

Not every product we mention has an affiliate program. We recommend many free tools and government resources that generate no revenue for us.

This product was created to solve a genuine problem: Australians need comprehensive, Australian-specific security guidance in one place. We created the product we wish existed when we started learning about financial security.
